Let Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Tucson Prepare Your Vehicle for Its State Inspection
Are you coming up on your Arizona state vehicle inspection? Are you worried about whether or not your vehicle will pass? Let the expert technicians at Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Tucson give you a helping hand. While inspections can only be performed at state-run location, our team can help you remedy any issues you have before you schedule that critical inspection appointment.
What is Required During My Arizona State Vehicle Inspection?
The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) requires inspections for all vehicles used in the Tucson and Tucson areas. Inspections must take place at an ADOT-certified testing center.
All gasoline cars, trucks, and SUVs under 8,500 pounds with a model year of 1996 or newer require testing every two years. All gas vehicles with a 1967 to 1995 model year need annual testing. All 1967 and newer diesel vehicles require annual testing, as do all heavy-duty vehicles over 8,500 pounds.
If your vehicle fails its AZ state inspection, the inspection station will not cover or perform any repairs. That's why making a visit to our service center prior to your inspection can help save you time.
