What's New for the Volkswagen ID.4?
Some exciting changes have taken place to the VW ID.4 recently. The ID.4s for US sales are now built in Chattanooga, Tennessee! ID.4's made in Tennessee (with some restrictions), may qualify for an EV tax credit. All ID.4 models now come with standard Plug&Charge capability, for extra easy Electrify America station charging. On the design side, we have new wheel designs, upgraded interior materials and new colors.
How Far can you drive on a full charge?
The EPA estimated total range is 275 miles on the rear-wheel-drive ID.4 Pro S. AWD is 255 miles. Actual mileage and range will vary and depend on several factors including driving and charging habits, accessory use, temperature and topography, battery age, load, and vehicle condition.
What kind of warranty do you get on the ID.4's battery?
The Volkswagen ID.4 has an eight-year/100,000 miles
(whichever occurs first) warranty specific to the High Voltage Battery. That
is separate from the general New Vehicle Limited Warranty, which is for four
years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Other warranty benefits are
covered under "Carefree Coverage" which includes two years/20,000 miles of Scheduled
Carefree Maintenance, and three years/36,000 miles of Roadside Assistance.
Does the ID.4 come with any free charging?
Yes. The Volkswagen ID.4 comes with 3 years of included
30-minute charging sessions from the date of vehicle purchase at Electrify
America DC Fast Charging Stations at no additional cost.
